One of the most fun websites I have come across in the last few months is picjoke.com, which has some fantastic online photoshop technology features that allow you to transform your digital photos with some impressive special effects, from putting your and your friends images up in lights on billboards all around the world, to seeing how you would look on the latest film and designer brand name posters. I created some funny pics with it and would like to share with out.

The quality of the effects on picjoke is amazing, and as you can see on the picture below a simple personal digital photo can completely transformed into a very realistic sign advert in just a few seconds.

There are also some very funny pictures effects that will make you and your friends smile, such as this cute cat photo and a painter painting my pic :

If you have ever wanted to see your image up in lights then picjoke is the website for you, and there are some very special effects that will combine your photos with those of the rich and famous, such as the latest film posters:

It is completely free to use all many impressive special effects on picjoke.com, and you will not need to download any software as everything is done online, so all you need to do is select the effect you want to play with and then browse your computer for the photo you want to use and upload it to the website. It only takes a few seconds to transform your photo with the special effect you have chosen, and then you can either save the photo to your computer or move on to the next effect.

There are over 100 special effects to choose from on picjoke.com, with new ones being added every day, so you can have hours of fun choosing which impressive effects you are going to use on your photos, and create your very own special photo gallery full of amazing and funny photos.

BTW comment on my photos

Poster design is one of the more challenging aspects of promotional literature, as you only have a small space in which to put across your information, and it must be clear and succinct enough that the main points can be communicated in just a glance.

The balance between images and text must be carefully considered, as both must be large enough to be seen for a distance of up to 15 meters away, and both must work together to attract passer-by’s, without either one overwhelming or detracting from the other.

Here are five main points that you should consider when designing posters:

Keep it simple and restrict the content on your poster as much as you can (image, background design and text).

Arrange the main points (special offer, company logo, product image etc) so that they are the largest and most obvious sections of the poster. Any other necessary information can be smaller and displayed nearly the bottom, or to the sides.

Display – consider where the poster will be displayed and adapt your design to suit these surroundings. If it is going to be displayed with a lot of other posters, check these out first if you can and design your poster so that it is different and so stand out more.

Colour Scheme – colours that match or enhance each other provide more impact, chaotic colour schemes just look confusing and put people off.

Modern – unless you have a particular need to create a period or old fashioned design, make sure your poster is modern and the current style.

When it comes time to making your poster, think about how much you want to spend and how many you want to print. There are a whole host of top quality online printers now offering some great deals on poster printing, which have a number of options for you to choose from to enhance your design such as high-quality, full colour gloss finish or high-quality 100% recycled matte finish. PS Print offer a good range of poster selections at low prices, and provide a useful free sample kit, to help you choose the printing and paper options that are best for you. To find out more about PS Prints online poster printing options you can visit their website at Psprint.com, or telephone a representative on 800 511 2009.
